Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 7, 2026

This policy explains how Bicify processes personal data on bicify.io, app.bicify.io and our messaging integrations (WhatsApp, Instagram and TikTok). Like other conversation CRMs, we are the controller of your account data and a processor of your customers’ messages.

1. Who we are

Bicify is software for bike shops and workshops: a unified inbox, workshop module, CRM and marketplace. The marketing site is https://bicify.io and the app is https://app.bicify.io, including the inbox at https://app.bicify.io/inbox.

Privacy questions or data-subject requests: info@bicify.ar.

2. Scope and two roles

  • Account and website data. When you sign up, request a demo or browse bicify.io, Bicify determines the purposes (controller).
  • Customer content. When a shop connects WhatsApp, Instagram or TikTok, we process contacts’ messages, profiles and files only to provide the Service on that shop’s instructions (processor). We have no direct relationship with those people. The shop must inform them and have a legal basis.

3. Data we collect

  • Account and billing: name, email, phone, shop details, country, team role and payment data needed to charge the plan.
  • Authentication: if you sign in with Google, we receive your Google id, name, email and profile photo. We do not receive your Google password.
  • Technical usage: IP address, browser, device, logs, cookies and product events (including Google Tag Manager on this site).
  • Content you upload: notes, tags, work orders, quotes, products and files.
  • Messaging-platform data when a shop connects a channel. See section 5.

Please do not send sensitive data (health, biometrics, political opinions, etc.) unless it is strictly needed for a repair and the shop has a legal basis to process it.

4. How we obtain data

  • Information you give us when you register, book a demo or contact us.
  • Information generated by your use of the app and site.
  • Integrations you connect: Google, Meta (WhatsApp and Instagram) and TikTok.
  • Hosting, email, analytics, storage or payment providers.

5. WhatsApp, Instagram and TikTok

When a shop connects a channel, Bicify receives the data needed to show conversations in app.bicify.io/inbox. That may include:

  • Platform identifiers (for example a TikTok open_id, WhatsApp number or Instagram id).
  • Profile name, avatar or business name exposed by the channel.
  • Message content, attachments, delivery statuses and webhook metadata.
  • Messaging-ad events (for example which TikTok or Meta ad started the chat), if the shop uses that feature.

We use this data only to operate the inbox, assign conversations, provide technical support, comply with law and keep the Service secure. We do not sell TikTok, WhatsApp or Instagram user data. We do not use it to advertise Bicify to those users or to train third-party AI models.

A shop can disconnect a channel at any time. New messages stop; historical data follows section 8 and our data deletion instructions.

6. Why we use the information

  • Create and manage accounts, teams and plans.
  • Provide the inbox, workshop, CRM and the rest of the Service.
  • Send operational notices (security, billing, service changes).
  • Prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorized access.
  • Measure and improve the product and the site.
  • Comply with law or valid authority requests.

We may use aggregated or anonymized data for internal product statistics.

8. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We may share it with:

  • Vendors that help us run the Service (hosting, email, analytics, storage, payments), only for that task.
  • Meta, Google or TikTok when you connect those integrations, limited to authentication and message delivery.
  • Team members the shop invites to its workspace.
  • Authorities or advisors when legally required or needed to protect rights.
  • A future acquirer of Bicify, under the same limits as this policy.

9. Retention

We keep information while the account is active and for a reasonable extra period for billing, disputes, security and legal duties. After account closure we delete or anonymize data unless a limited record must be kept.

10. International transfers

Some infrastructure or APIs (Meta, TikTok, Google) may process data outside your country. We look for vendors with appropriate contractual and security safeguards.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (access control, encryption in transit, logs). No system is perfectly secure. If an incident is likely to affect your rights, we will notify you when the law requires it.

12. Cookies

bicify.io uses cookies and measurement tools (including Google Tag Manager) to remember preferences, understand traffic and improve the site. You can limit cookies in your browser; some features may stop working.

13. Your rights

Depending on your country, you may request:

  • Access, correction or updates.
  • Deletion or restriction of processing, where applicable.
  • Objection to certain uses (for example marketing).
  • Information about who received your data.

Email info@bicify.ar. If your request is about a message you sent to a bike shop (data that shop controls), contact that shop first: we only process it on their behalf. In Argentina you may also contact the Agency for Access to Public Information.

14. Data deletion

The process is described in Data deletion. Use it also if you revoke Bicify’s access from TikTok, Meta, Facebook or Instagram.

15. Children

Bicify is B2B software. It is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect children’s data.

16. Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is the one published on this page, with its date.
